By car

From Nuremberg, take the A6 for the Czech Republic. You will reach Tännesberg in c. 1 hour.
Take motorway exit 72 "Leuchtenberg" and join the B22 for "Cham/Oberviechtach/Tännesberg".

The road links from Berlin are also excellent; Tännesberg is only around a 4-hour drive.
You do not need to go as far as Nuremberg: take exit 33 ("Dreieck Bayerisches Vogtland") onto the A72 for "Plauen/Regensburg", which will take you to the A6.

From Munich, it is 2 hours to Tännesberg through the Upper Palatinate Forest.

From the A 93 Regensburg - Weiden, take the "Tännesberg" exit and follow the signs to Tännesberg.

The hotel is opposite the church on Tännesberg market square.

By train

Via Nuremberg, Hof or Regensburg to Weiden.
